Using the state-of-the-art Itero 3d Imaging machine, we’ll create a 3D representation of your mouth, and how your new smile will look. This procedure is completely non-invasive, pain-free and takes just a few minutes.
This 3D scan will show you how your new smile will look and we will then be able to explain how Invisalign treatment works and give you a guide to timescales and costs.
Start your Invisalign treatment!
When you are due to start your Invisalign treatment with Victoria Road Clinic, our dentist will carry out a thorough dental examination to re-check your suitability for treatment and if necessary, recommend any pre-treatment work (for example, we may recommend that you visit the Dental Hygienist for a thorough clean of your mouth before starting your teeth straightening).
After taking some initial photographs to track your progress, our dentist will submit your details and your custom Invisalign clear aligners will be manufactured. They will then be delivered to the Victoria Road Clinic and an appointment will be arranged for you to collect them and begin the treatment process.

What is the treatment process?
Invisalign® Treatment starts with a consultation with an Invisalign®-trained Doctor. Your Invisalign® Doctor will evaluate your smile and then map out a precise, customised digital treatment plan that showcases the step-by-step transformation of your smile.
How long will treatment take?
The length of treatment depends on multiple factors, like how complex your case is and how often you wear your aligners. Your Invisalign® Doctor will determine exactly how long your treatment could take based on your specific needs. On average, Invisalign treatment time is 12 to 18 months4 though you can start seeing results in a matter of weeks.
How often will I change my Invisalign® aligners?
Your Invisalign® Doctor will tell you how often you should change to new Invisalign® aligners (this can vary based on your individual treatment plan). Many Invisalign® Doctors recommend changing Invisalign clear aligners weekly or every other week.
How many hours per day should I wear my Invisalign® aligners?
For the best results, wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out just for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.
