Denplan
Spread the cost of your routine dental care with Denplan at Victoria Road Implant & Dental Clinic in Swindon. Ask our team about joining.

What is Denplan?
Denplan, part of Simplyhealth, provides dental payment plans that help you budget for your dental care by spreading the cost into a monthly Direct Debit. Your plan is an agreement between you and your dentist, and Denplan collects your payments on the practice’s behalf.
Victoria Road Implant & Dental Clinic is a fully private practice welcoming both Denplan and fee-per-item patients. A Denplan plan makes it easier to keep up regular check-ups and hygiene visits, so problems can be spotted early and your teeth and gums stay healthy.
Why choose a Denplan plan?
Spread the cost
Pay a fixed monthly amount by Direct Debit, rather than paying for each routine appointment.Prevention first
Regular check-ups and hygiene visits help your dentist spot and avoid problems before they start.Care tailored to you
Your dentist decides how many check-ups, hygiene visits and X-rays you are likely to need each year.
Denplan Essentials
Denplan Essentials is a simple way to spread the cost of your routine, preventive dental care. Your dentist decides how many examinations and hygiene appointments you are likely to need each year, and our practice team will let you know your monthly fee.
Denplan Essentials can cover
- An agreed number of dental examinations (check-ups)
- An agreed number of hygiene appointments, such as a scale and polish
- Routine X-rays as required
- Preventive dental advice
What isn’t included
- Restorative treatment, such as fillings, crowns, bridges and dentures
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Orthodontics, implants and cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees, referred treatment and treatment carried out elsewhere
Some practices offer Essentials patients a discount on restorative treatment. Please ask our team what applies at Victoria Road.

Denplan for Children
Denplan for Children helps your child build good oral health habits from an early age, with regular visits to the dentist and no unexpected bills for their routine care.
- Regular dental check-ups
- Dental X-rays as needed
- Child-friendly dental care
- Preventive advice for parents and children
Anything else that is included, such as hygiene treatment or fillings, varies by practice and is set out in your child’s plan. The plan is designed for children under 18. At 18, the practice reviews your child’s needs and agrees a new plan with them.
Optional emergency and injury cover
For an additional monthly fee, Denplan patients can add Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover, provided by Simplyhealth Access. It gives cover towards worldwide dental injuries, dental emergencies and mouth cancer when you are more than 40 miles from your registered dental practice, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Denplan cost at Victoria Road?
Denplan monthly fees are set by your dentist, based on your oral health and the care you are likely to need. Please contact our team on 01793 534627 or info@victoriaroadclinic.co.uk for our current Denplan fees.
How do I join Denplan?
Book a check-up with us so your dentist can assess your oral health and agree the right plan and monthly fee with you. You then complete a Denplan application and your payments are collected monthly by Direct Debit. Denplan may charge a one-off registration fee when you join.
Do I need treatment before I can join Denplan Essentials?
No. You don’t need to be dentally fit to join Denplan Essentials, so you can join without having treatment first. Any treatment you need that isn’t covered by your plan is charged separately, and we will always discuss costs with you before treatment.
Is treatment from other dentists covered?
Your plan covers the care you receive from your registered dentist and their team at our practice. Treatment carried out elsewhere, including referred treatment, isn’t covered by your plan and is charged separately.
